Debbie was captivated by the majestic granite rocks and surrounding Caribbean seascape of The Baths at Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. Photographs from her visits inspired a series of paintings exploring this remarkable place.
Her earlier works in the series reflected a distinctive pointillist-influenced style. After a second visit to Virgin Gorda, Debbie’s approach to the subject changed. Completed in 2023, The Baths of Virgin Gorda is one of those later works and was selected as a signature work in the Debbie Lindsey collection.
